Planning Applications

We will carry out an initial consultation with you in your own home to discuss the thoughts you have had on improvements to your home. If appointed, we will take a dimensional survey of the existing dwelling and discuss with you the type of extension and improvements available.

We will also advise you on extending your property to maximise its value. Once you have decided on the improvements we will then prepare drawings and specification for the application and complete the necessary forms. We will submit them on your behalf and liaise with the planning department.

Our intention is to take the burden and time consuming application process away from you to make the route to your improved property as smooth as possible.

Building Regulations Applications

Once the planning application is approved we will prepare drawings and specification for the building regulations application and complete the necessary forms. We will submit them and liaise with the building regulations department.

Once the application has been approved and you have appointed a contractor, work will commence on site. Then if necessary we will carry out on site inspections for you

Education Based Projects

L Rollins design uses a creative approach in all work. We believe in helping to educate children in thinking creatively from an early age which benefits them as they grow and learn more about the world and environment around them. Our community experience draws on leading many tenant design consultations on behalf of Sunderland Housing Group, now Gentoo.

We are currently working as a Creative within Tyne and Wear Museums with a weekly childrens arts and crafts class. We have created a series of day workshops to run in schools about understanding and how we play a part in, the built environment
